Can I get an Egypt e-Visa online, and how long does it take?

Yes. Most nationalities can apply on Egypt's official e-Visa portal (visa2egypt.gov.eg). You get a 30-day tourist visa, single or multiple entry. Apply about a week before travel — approval usually arrives within 3 to 7 days by email. Print a paper copy to show at the airport, and make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from arrival. Visa on arrival (a sticker bought before passport control, around USD 25) is also still available at the main airports if you prefer.
