The Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF) returns for its 46th edition from November 12 to 21, 2025, at the iconic Cairo Opera House ciff.org.egciff.org.eg. As the only international, FIAPF‑accredited “Category A” festival in Africa and the Middle East, CIFF brings together filmmakers and cinephiles from around the globe ciff.org.eg.
History & Accreditation
Founded in 1976 under the patronage of Egypt’s Ministry of Culture, CIFF has showcased emerging and established talents ever since Wikipedia. It’s one of only 15 festivals worldwide accorded “Category A” status by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF) ciff.org.eg.
